Sculptural charger for electric cars
When working over the summer for this guy who ran some properties in Chelsea and who hired me to curate and design couple shows, he happened to lease the ground floor of a building in 26th street to TESLA motors. (I think they are gone now again from there).
Anyway, I had this idea for charging the electric cars, inspired by the armadillo retractile shell.
Just imagine you arrive to your garage and instead of having a greasy car there, you have this slick sculptural pod, where the car sleeps, and suddenly your garage is an empty room with a nice sort of sculptural element.
You could turn your garage into a living room, or a music room.
So, I sent it to them. Of course, they never responded. But I still think it is a great idea. I think it will happen sooner or later.
