6 Conceptual Architectures

I ran into Alfons Soldevila (Badalona, 1938) in the library of the Col.legi d´Arquitectes de Barcelona and he told me about this upcoming exhibition he was having at ETSAB about his more experimental work. Alfons, who is besides an architect, an inventor too, was my PRA2 thesis supervisor and the builder of the Translucent House where I made a video installation in 2002 while in my second year of architecture.

So very naturally we started meeting to talk about the exhibition, and since he had no one to work for this show, he hired me to help him put it together.

I ended up designing all the graphic material in the show and the signage besides coordinating the exhibition. I also came up with the title, wrote the introduction and one of the texts in the show -- the 5th block "Architecture with added value."
